Introduction
Since January 3, 1999, the website World Webcam Monitor was online. The few webcams in that time mostly provided a picture that was renewed every ten minutes, on the hour or every day. I started the site with a world trip and with some luck you could see that when the sun is shining at one place, at the other site of the globe it is night. Since the webcams changed, went streaming and there came very many of them. Now that adress will be closed.
This new World Webcam Monitor has few detailed information. If you search for a webcam, you can google it. Here
you find a number of webcam sites in The Netherlands, including some embedded webcams of popular spots. Next to
it you find a list of sties ith hundreds of streaming webcams all over the World. At the end a selection of s
pecial webcams is given, starting with the cam aboard of the International Space Station (ISS), where you can
make a world trip in some hours.

At the website, first view right and at this page, ISS gives the Earth View at this very moment. You
can enlange the view full screen. Looking at the view they broadcast the conversation between the ground
tantion and the ISS. Further on you find where the ISS crosses the Clobe at the moment, there is
a 10-day-prediction of visible passes,
geographic information and a live stream out of the USS cabin.
This is the most visited spot in New York City: Times Square! EarthCam exclusive webcams feature aerial views of the action below and the world famous street-level camera with audio.
In Key West, the southermost city in the United States, (Florida) the Sloppy Joe’s Bar Cam monitors the atmosphere in the public.
Porjus.eu (Sweden) has four Aurora webcams active in Lapland, Sweden. They, however, need a dark sky and March-September (Midnight Sun) they don’t work. Come back when the sun has left Northern Sweden.
People go to the Las Vegas Wedding Chapel to swear eternal fidelity. EarthCam makes you a witness of the ceremony.
